Easter Service
We are going to hold our first service with the new converts on Easter morning. We are planning a weekend retreat at the 777 Ranch for several families. Pray that they would be able to get off work, and be encouraged to participate. We anticipate around four families, but more could come. We are planning activities for Saturday evening for the kids and then a sunrise service on Easter Sunday, a breakfast and some other activities for the families. This could be a real step in starting regular services, pray for God's blessing.
Nancy's Trip
Nancy is one of our most dedicated believers. She has finished her first discipleship book and is starting on a second one. She and her husband will be leaving next week for Mexico and will be gone for two months. We will miss her, but we have encouraged her to witness to family and friends and come back with news of new converts. It is possible that we will be able to visit them in May when we make a trip to Mexico.
Shawn's Back
Shawn is very healthy, but once in a while his back goes out seriously and it affects many aspects of his well being. He cannot afford to go to the chiropractor the 10-12 times it would require to get his back to stay in, so we have to resort to home remedies and any help from non professionals. Since we came back from the conferences in MN, he has suffered greatly but keeps his schedule. Pray that God would bring relief.
Disheartening news
One of the families we led to the Lord recently is now moving to Wyoming. It is sad to see them leave, but we have found a good Hispanic church they can attend where they are going. Pray for Armida & her daughters as they move and that they might continue to grow spiritually in their new home.
Great Conference
What a blessed time we had ministering at Faith Baptist Church in Albert Lea, MN and at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College last week. One young man surrendered to go to the mission field. PTL! We were well provided for and were encouraged in the work.
