First of all, it was the first time that we have brought together the two congregations, Spanish & English. We have been tentative about doing this but it seemed like a good time to try it. God moved in a special way that night, the group was about half & half and there was a sweet spirit of unity and Christlike love. Secondly we had a lot of visitors and many said they would be coming back. The first day of the mine collapse, Penny and I went to check on our families to see if they were affected. Since then I have been translating everyday for the two sessions and throughout the day we counsel and witness. We had three families participate. They arrived on Friday and stayed through Sunday noon. We had activities for the children as well as the adults and throughout the weekend we had Bible times where we taught the children and adults the meaning of Easter. On Easter morning we taught them resurrection songs and they heard their first sermon.
